Seun Paul Olatunji Named Among Top Five African Digital Innovators by Innovation Makers Alliance

Nigerian technology entrepreneur Seun Paul Olatunji has been named among the Top Five African Digital Innovators following an assessment by Innovation Makers Alliance (IMA), recognising his contribution to digital innovation and technology development in Africa.

The recognition was associated with the Digital Technology Winter Program, hosted by IÉSEG School of Management in Lille, France, from January 6 to 10, 2025. The programme was conducted in partnership with Innovation Makers Alliance, France and brought together technology, entrepreneurship and sustainable development perspectives across Africa and Europe.

Olatunji was selected from a pool of African innovators whose work was assessed across areas including innovation, scalability, sustainability and social impact. His recognition was linked particularly to Efiko NG, his education technology platform focused on expanding access to learning resources and supporting students preparing for examinations and professional courses.

The recognition reflects Olatunji’s broader work in applying technology to practical challenges and developing digital solutions with potential for meaningful impact. His work has positioned him among a growing group of African technology innovators contributing to the continent’s digital transformation.

The recognition also formed part of Olatunji’s participation in the Digital Technology Winter Program in Lille, where technology innovation, entrepreneurship and sustainable development were examined through the perspectives of African and European technology stakeholders.
